Private Parties
Crumpet's is the perfect place for your next party or Special Event.
We have extensive experience in making Bridal and Baby Showers, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Holiday Dinners and even small Weddings comfortable and care free for our guests. Seating for 50 in our dining room and additional seating for another 30 in our parlor, makes it convenient to accommodate parties of from 20-75.
Private parties are scheduled after regular business hours on Saturdays and Sundays. We ask for a nominal deposit to lock in your requested date. The deposit is non-refundable, but is applied to the total cost of your event.

The party menu is planned around our Petite Luncheon, which includes a small croissant sandwich with any of our typical sandwich fillings, and your choice of 2 soups - one of which is always our signature soup, Victoria's Masterpiece, and one of your choosing - all for our menu price of $8.25 per person.
For dessert, we have bakers available to provide you with an optional half-sheet decorated cake color matched and themed to your event for $40.00 - 50.00. Other dessert options are available upon request.
All of our usual unlimited beverage options are available at a cost of $3.00 per person.
A customized, personalized menu for your guests is prepared at no additional charge. We request you provide us with an electronic photo of the guest(s) of honor to be used on the menu, which will itemize all of your party food choices and options.
A room charge of $30.00 per hour (charged in quarter hour increments) will added to your total at the end of your event, as will 6.25% tax and 20% gratuity. Payment in full is due at the close of the event.
On the day of your event, you may arrive up to 20 minutes prior to arrival of guests to place party favors or decorations at the table settings. A table near the door will be cleared for guests to place any gifts which they may be bringing to the event. You are encouraged to direct your guests back to the dining area as quickly as possible as they arrive. Beverage and meal orders from the customized menu will be taken as soon as guests are seated. Guests generally play party games and visit while food is being prepared. Wait staff will notify you when they expect to begin serving, so games can be wound up conveniently. If you have opted to have a cake available, we will offer to cut and serve it after food plates have been collected.
While dessert is being served, the wait staff will re-arrange chairs in the parlor for viewing gift opening near the front of the building, where guests are directed when food service has ended. This plan works best for parties of 45 or less. Larger groups will generally remain seated where they eat, and the guest of honor will be centrally located, near the arches at Crumpet's, to allow guests in the dining room and parlor to witness gift opening.
In our experience, most events last 3 to 3.5 hours, but much depends on how quickly guests are seated for food orders to be taken, and how long guests visit after gifts are opened.
